Riding Lessons Belfast
Birr House is a British Horse Society approved riding centre. We offer lessons for children and adults of all levels of riding.
Our lower age limit is 6 years old.
Our upper weight limit is 14 st 7lbs.
Young beginners are led a few times by a parent so they get a “feel for it” before being allowed to give it a go themselves.
A reasonable level of physical fitness and agility is necessary to be able to ride.
Most lessons are in groups but we do a private assessment lesson first.
We also run “Pony days” in school holidays and are a Pony Club affiliated centre.
We are a British Horse Society approved training centre so you can improve your skills and knowledge with the Challenge Awards and maybe progress on to gain some qualifications too. Lots to think about – Lots to do.
